I am interested in alternative health solutions and a member of the alternativehealthjournal facebook group. One of my facebook friends is Aubrey de Grey at Cambridge University UK, who is the director of the Methuselah Foundation project. I have been following his work and have also been following the work of Dr David Sinclair of Sirtris Pharmaceuticals Inc whose work at Harvard Medical School into research on resveratrol has led to the company being recently bought out by Glaxo Smith Kline for 720 million dollars. My current interest is centred around the latest research into the benefits of resveratrol but I am concerned about the hype that many nutriceutical sellers are currently engaged in to promote some products that have only small amounts of the substance.
