Natural Cures: Canker sore
Licorice Extract is a Sweet Treat for Canker Sores
Sylly Gyrl

Posted December 04, 2008
My husband often suffers from canker sores, but I found a treatment that really works for relieving the pain: licorice extract. He uses the liquid form (found at most health food stores, or online).

Apply some baking powder on the sore. It can be used in either powdered form or as a paste. This helps reduce the amount of bacteria in the mouth. Be sure to rinse your mouth several times a day with a mouthwash of mixing one tsp. baking soda in half cup of warm water.
