A friend told me that if you want to help get rid of diarrhea, toast two pieces of bread then put peanut butter on it. The peanut butter helps to tighten your bowels back up.

I've heard the best solution is chicken soup with rice. Apparently it's the combination of the rice and broth that seems to protect the lining cells of the intestines.
